School & Nursery Discos

Our professional and fun-loving entertainers will bring everything to your school and keep the kids buzzing with energy for the whole disco however long it is. Whether they are tiny toddlers or cool tweens, they will have the time of their lives dancing to the latest music and classic children’s songs!
Each disco is tailored to the age category and would include lots of high energy party games (and prizes) with props such as Dinki Disco musical bumps, pom poms, parachute, inflatable musical instruments etc. and of course lots of dancing. We will lead the children in some basic dance routines, we tend to have a mix of current chart music along with the classic children’s songs (depending on the ages of the child) such as the okey cokey and superman etc. We will provide the music system and disco lights and all that we will need is power and an area large enough for lots of dancing.
Features normally included for a disco are:
  • Interactive games throughout disco (eg Dinki Disco musical bumps, parachute, pom poms, guess the song, inflatable guitars, microphones & saxophones, hula hoops etc.)
  • All the latest music­ or request your own song list (one or two songs can be requested from each year group) - All music played will be clean versions.
  • Disco equipment (PA system, 4 x lights etc) we use LED lights which means there are no hot bulbs/lamps that can be touched accidentally. Volume levels will be closely monitored with the aim of providing a disco atmosphere but not at the cost of damaging hearing. In all cases we'll check with a member of staff at the start of each event.
  • The equipment we use has been independently PAT tested and labelled with a sticker. It will comply with UK electrical safety laws.
  • PLI (Public Liability Insurance) which is current and valid.
  • Glow bracelets for each child to wear/take away.
  • Balloons to fill the dancefloor.

  • UV Glow Disco (additional £50)

For families with younger children (8s and under) but all ages welcome.
Music is kept at safe levels but is still loud enough to dance so please bring ear defenders if you wish.
All venues vary depending on location, we use club lighting rigs with colour changing and moving lights but no strobes.
Buggies must be left in the designated buggy park and will not be allowed on the dance floor. Items are left at your own risk. You may wish to use baby slings as an alternative to buggies.
Non-walking infants are FREE – but please do “buy” a ticket for your baby as they will count against the capacity of the venue.
Please email proof to letsparty@dinkidisco.co.uk and let them know which event it is for so we can arrange a ticket for them.
Our events are very popular and sell out in advance, we sometimes have a waiting list of families wanting to attend, please email letsparty@dinkidisco.co.uk and we will try to resell your tickets. We are unable to refund any tickets within 24 hours of the event.
There is a general disclaimer that anyone entering the event gives permission for photographs or video of them or their children to be used for the purposes of Dinki Disco publicity. Almost everyone takes lots of photos at the events as they are so colourful and fun.
The events are standing with limited seating and unfortunately not all our venues have fully disabled access. If you have mobility issues, please email letsparty@dinkidisco.co.uk if you would like more information.
  • Please note parents/guardians/carers always remain responsible for their children. Children must remain under adult supervision, and we kindly request no running.
  • Parents and children both require a valid ticket.
  • Please note most venues will operate a licenced bar. 
  • Strictly no adults admitted without a child. (maximum ratio of 3 adults to one child, or one adult to 3 children) Any adults who show up without children won't be allowed in, so please make sure that you arrive with the rest of your group.
  • Allergy advice: We use latex balloons and food vendors may offer food containing nuts.

Photography and filming: By attending, you give permission for Dinki Disco to take photos and video of the event for the use of press, social media and marketing purposes. If you see a photo you wish to have removed, please contact us at letsparty@dinkidisco.co.uk
